What's included in the free plan?

The free plan lets you coach up to 3 clients with the basic workout builder, nutrition tracking, 1:1 messaging, and progress photos. It's a great way to try the platform before upgrading.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period.

How does AI generation work?

Our AI analyzes your client's goals, experience, equipment, and limitations to generate personalized workout programs and meal plans. It's trained on evidence-based exercise science and nutrition research. You can edit any AI-generated content before assigning it to clients.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We use row-level security to ensure coaches can only access their own clients' data. We never sell your data. See our Security page for details.

Can I use Kounisou without a coach?

Absolutely. During signup, choose 'Try solo with AI' to get access to AI-powered workout generation, nutrition tracking, and an AI coaching chatbot — all without a human coach.

Do you take commission on client payments?

No. Kounisou charges 0% commission on all client payments, forever. You keep 100% of what your clients pay. Standard payment processing fees (Stripe: 2.9% + $0.30) still apply.

Can my clients screenshot my workout programs?

Pro and Studio plans include Content Protection (DRM). When enabled, clients cannot screenshot or screen-record your proprietary workout content on mobile devices.

How do I connect health data from my watch?

Open the mobile app → go to Health → tap 'Connect'. We support Apple Health (iPhone/Apple Watch) and Google Health Connect (Android/Wear OS). Data syncs automatically when you open the app.

Can I import my clients from another platform?

Yes. We offer a migration tool that lets you import clients, workout programs, and exercise history from other coaching platforms via CSV. Go to Settings → Import Data.

How does Trainer Discovery work?

Clients without a coach can browse our trainer marketplace, filter by location, specialty, and price range, and connect with coaches directly. Coaches enable their discovery profile in Settings → Discovery.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Kounisou has a native mobile app for both iOS and Android. Clients use it to log workouts, track nutrition, chat with their coach, and view health data. Coaches can manage everything from the web dashboard or the app.

Can I white-label the app with my branding?

Pro plans include web white-labeling (custom colors, logo, domain). Studio plans include a fully white-labeled mobile app with your brand's icon and name.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel, your account remains active until the end of your billing period. After that, you revert to the free plan (3 clients). Your data is preserved for 90 days in case you resubscribe.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a full refund within 14 days of any paid plan purchase if you're not satisfied. After 14 days, no refunds are issued, but you can cancel anytime.
